Business portrait sessions
A business portrait sitting is lit to match one existing brand photo, for up to eight people.
Built for founders and small teams who need one current photograph for a website, a press page or a partner deck, shot to sit next to whatever image is already in use.
What this sitting solves
One photograph, matched to what's already public
Most business portrait bookings start with the same problem: a founder has one decent photo from a conference three years ago, everyone else on the leadership page has whatever their laptop camera produced, and someone finally decided the site needs a real, consistent set. We ask for a link to the existing photo or brand page before the sitting and build the lighting to sit next to it — matching the direction of light, the warmth, and how tight or loose the crop reads — so the new portrait doesn't look like it came from a different company.
This is business portrait photography for people who need a photograph to do a job: a bio page, a speaker page, a press kit, a LinkedIn header that doesn't look like a passport photo. It is not a personal keepsake sitting — if what you want is a portrait for yourself rather than for a company page, book the personal portrait session instead, which runs on a different rhythm and a different rate.
We cap a single sitting at eight people. Past that headcount, the light stops being able to stay even across everyone in a reasonable half-day, and a team of that size gets scheduled as a longer day with a written headcount plan in advance, not squeezed into a normal half-day slot.
How the lighting is built
The rig gets set before you arrive, not adjusted around you on the day
We build the softbox and reflector position from the reference photo before your slot starts, so the sitting itself is mostly about your expression and posture rather than standing around while lights get moved. Each person gets roughly ten to fifteen minutes in front of the camera; a team of five or six comfortably fits inside a half-day booking with time for two or three individual frames plus one group shot.
We shoot on the same medium-format digital body used for every sitting here, because a leadership page printed on a large monitor or a conference banner shows compression artifacts fast, and a file with more resolution to spare simply holds up better when someone inevitably blows it up bigger than planned.
